At Power Tek Fitness, we offer a range of exercise and human performance consulting services targeted at improving athletic performance across a variety of sports for both the novice and professional athlete. We have developed innovative training strategies that improve performance and prevent injury – “ cutting edge “ strength and conditioning strategies based on years of experience with athletes at every level of development.

Our summer sport-specific conditioning program is a comprehensive, scientifically designed plan that addresses the unique needs of each athlete based on their unique training status, injury history and sport – specific needs. We utilize a combination of traditional strength training, explosive speed-power conditioning, Swiss Ball stability training and dry-land speed / agility conditioning to optimize performance. We have produced champions in every sport !

 

Brad Norris , M.Ed., D.Ac., A.S.E.P., company founder and clinician, is an exercise physiologist, kinesiologist and acupuncturist. He holds a Master’s degree in human performance and numerous professional certifications in the fields of high performance athletic conditioning and functional orthopedic rehabilitation. He is a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association, The American Society of Exercise Physiologists, The American College of Sports Medicine and The Society of Weight Training Injury Specialists.

A former member of the Canadian Olympic Bobseld Team, Brad lectures extensively on the effective development of functional conditioning strategies for athletic, high-performance and / or injured populations. He has been responsible for the development and design of strength and conditioning strategies for athletes in NCAA, Olympic and professional sport.
