| At Power Tek Fitness, we offer a range of exercise and human performance consulting services targeted at improving athletic performance across a variety of sports for both the novice and professional athlete. We have developed innovative training strategies that improve performance and prevent injury cutting edge strength and conditioning strategies based on years of experience with athletes at every level of development. Our summer sport-specific conditioning program is a comprehensive, scientifically designed plan that addresses the unique needs of each athlete based on their unique training status, injury history and sport specific needs. We utilize a combination of traditional strength training, explosive speed-power conditioning, Swiss Ball stability training and dry-land speed / agility conditioning to optimize performance. We have produced champions in every sport !
Brad Norris , M.Ed., D.Ac., A.S.E.P., company founder and clinician, is an exercise physiologist, kinesiologist and acupuncturist. He holds a Masters degree in human performance and numerous professional certifications in the fields of high performance athletic conditioning and functional orthopedic rehabilitation. He is a member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association, The American Society of Exercise Physiologists, The American College of Sports Medicine and The Society of Weight Training Injury Specialists. A former member of the Canadian Olympic Bobseld Team, Brad lectures extensively on the effective development of functional conditioning strategies for athletic, high-performance and / or injured populations. He has been responsible for the development and design of strength and conditioning strategies for athletes in NCAA, Olympic and professional sport.
